ppl argue that it shows messages so ppl who didnt verify see more than when the update dropped

if you see a message with two dots “..” for example when a round ends u know someone is prbly saying gg

and if u see someone jumping around frantically while walls of text get thrown up its prbly some rage but yea guessing game

There was the Global Game Jam that I was just apart of that Games For Change sponsored as well. This is an interesting opportunity.

Notes from terms of challenge: You must be 18 and you must own all rights to used IP.

Question: Is the mentorship with the Roblox Design team paid, is it a summer kind of thing, or is it a few days? What does that look like?

It seems to be for the first place winner, or maybe third place? I can’t tell.

Will this be used for educating kids on platform, as in a game that educates kids on online safety they must play before having access to social features like chat?
Or is this just one and done, with nothing happening once the cash prize is given out to who ever wins?

As I would like to hope that this is a good first step to Roblox having actually good safety policies, rather than the clusterfuck that’s happening currently.

Nobody has that currently besides Roblox. It’s Roblox leading this stupid move to supposedly avoid legal trouble but they could go about it 100 different ways and chose the most destructive, horrible way to do it.

I am assuming you are saying that I would be the only one impacted by these changes in this hypothetical situation but I don’t care as I barely speak in chat, I don’t use faces as I wear a helmet, and I don’t own any face limiteds, and I prefer R15 anyways.

all of those ‘100 different ways’ likely don’t work in practice and are very hypothetical. I’m sure Roblox didn’t want to launch the age checks but it was the only solution that actually worked, and plus governments are going to be enforcing age check laws soon anyways so roblox is just enforcing them early before governments start chasing them down on it.
