I want to know about how generic game names work on other platforms. For example, Fortnite’s “Save the World” is a very generic name, it’s nothing unique or really tied to Epic’s identity. It basically describes the gameplay; you “Save the World”. Could you then use this name on Roblox?
Yes it should be completely fine, its not like Fortnite claimed the name for itself or anything.
Is that legally backed? While the name is pretty generic in and of itself, Epic has been using it for enough time such that you could propose it’d cause confusion, if the game were to get popular enough. Do you play Epic’s Save the World, or the other developer’s Save the World?
