Hello all!
Theoretically, if a ball was to roll along the surface shown below, we would expect it to roll along the length of the surface smoothly.
However, what I found is that each time the ball touched a new part, its velocity would point up. The video below showcases this. A ball is shown at the player’s feet. The player character faces the direction of the ball’s velocity. Note that the character itself has no affect on the ball.
Whilst this may seem only visual, in some cases the ball would slow down or change direction when entering on a new part.
The surface cannot be overlayed with 1 invisible part that the ball would roll instead, as the surface will also have slopes at some point in the future.
What causes this, and how would I go about fixing it?
