I was always wondering, how those big games like project slayers / grand piece online or any average anime game that comes out get that many players in their discords before release. Is it all just because youtube videos that sometimes get in your recommendations? Can somebody tell me?

Youtube trailers, previous games, ads asking for testers, social media ads that you personally post, streamers and youtubers with early access, early versions of the game (like that game Incryption, which like 2 years before it’s release the devs made this small trailer version of the game called “Sacrafices must be made”)
