Getting player's chat color using TextChatService

Hello. I’m trying to get the player’s chat color using an script for my announcement system. I tried looking on Getting players chat color but it was 2 years old and it’s outdated due to the release of TextChatService. Can someone help?

I don’t believe that Roblox changed the colour system for names with the release of text chat service? It should still be the same

I tried using the solution for that devforum post but it gave me violet name instead of yellow

I tested the provided code in that thread for my username and yours and the results are as expected(yours is yellow).

I’m not sure if this is actually considered a resource as I am not sure if it’s substantial enough but I extracted it and turned it into a basic module for anyone to get the user’s chat colour. Also the code that you provided in the topic, which seems to match my reply, and makes me feel a bit silly, also shows your name in yellow. So maybe the problem is somewhere else? (for example wrong arguments or weird way of handling colors).
