Give me feed back on what I could do better

omg omg omg so so so so cringe Nah no way.

I have some feedback.

  • Make the robloxian hold a pistol instead the gun the robloxian is currently holding.
  • Don’t need hearts and skeletons over the face. It’s better without it.
  • Make the background a bit darker. Just a tiny bit.

I rate that a 7.6/10

Keep up with the good work!

the props are good but those hearts effect and background doesn’t match with the gun. I suggest you change to a darker theme so it will match with the avatar.

Keep improving your great work!

As I can see from the avatar and the props it gives like ā€˜war’ look so it would match with dark theme or similar with that. Unless if you want to make it look aesthetic, remove the gun and change the pose. :slightly_smiling_face:

don’t get why there’s a gun involved if it’s got a very innocent background?

looks good but the gun is very odd

Hey there,

your art looks pretty good, as anross was saying

The gun is indeed odd in a innocent background

I also got some feedbacks for the art you can do to make it look epic

feedbacks

  • You should try adding a outline on the character with some effects around/outside of the body

  • I think it’d look a bit better if you did use some lighting in blender, maybe like a spot light with a small amount of strength

  • If you’re still going to keep the gun on the rig, you could just use a different background, and maybe a cool grid as the floor, you can make it all dark black and add a cool spot light behind your character or in the top corner of the screen with a nice red/orange color
Or you could just add some cool materials to the grid and object

I do think you need a little more practice, once you’ve head more practice getting used with different aspects of blender, you can succeed very well by opening your own commissions and doing other things to make a profit off this.

Your picture is nice however I will give some tips to help you improve

  • The Light and flowery background does not contrast well with the dark and deadly gun
  • Also what are you trying to achieve in the picture? Try and make it clear by probably using text or logos
  • Who is your audience? If you sold it as a game cover any child might see the flowery background and assume that it is a non-violent game. However, telling from the gun, it has violence involved. This can affect you greatly if this problem is not solved
  • Your avatar in the picture blends a bit too well . Try different colours instead.

If you want any inspirations or help look at online tutorials, see the work of great GFX designers or just experiment yourself

Apart from that your design is great!

I’m sure many others have said things similar to what I am about to say, but I think your character would fit great without the emojis near his head and if he were a bit brighter with a little higher contrast. I’m sure an outline and shadow would do great for your character as well as an easy border. I would also recommend swapping the gun for a smaller pistol.

The rendering quality isn’t so solid. Maybe add more lighting at the character. Perhaps add a bit of shadows beneath the character. For the gun, I can’t really say too much. At this angle, I can tell that it is an M4 or M4A1 from the barrel length and the stock. Maybe change the background, it’s too ā€œflashyā€ for this concept.

Overall I rate this a 5.5/10. Not the best, not the worst, but still needs some improvement.

The main thing I notice here is your image lacks a focal point. There’s so much going on that the eyes cannot decide where to focus first. The focal point needs to be the character. Even with a drop shadow or outline the background will still make it hard to hav a clear focal point. The easiest way to add a focal point to this is to use a Gaussian blur on the background, it keeps the appearance of the background but lowers it’s complexity.

I personally like the gun and edgy avatar with the aesthetic background. However, the skulls are very hard to see and a bit out of place, as though they were just stuck wherever they would fit. They could probably be removed to lessen the business of the image.

Here’s a quick sloppy edit just to show how a blur effects the background.
