Giving an animation more weight

Currently creating some animations for my game, specifcally a punch animation, the problem is it just feels wrong, and I feel like it could use some more weight or impact, the issue is I dont know what I’m doing :sob:

Im not very good at animating so any tips would be amazing!

Thanks in advanced!

it should be faster when he swings and when he charges the punch

When the foot slides back, don’t make it in sync with the other one, wait for the foot to plant and then slide the foot back. Typically in a fight, you would plant the foot opposite to the punching fist also.

Ok so blender has a thing called “Keyframe Interpolation” and by default it makes all frames look smooth, it has different options to make animations look different, aaand I’m pretty sure that would be the solution to your problems here.
I don’t really know a lot about it, so best I can do is recommend looking for a good video on youtube, soowwy (Edit, this one looks good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOhG5eweDcE)
