Glass without textures or scratches? (please answer)

I saw this post, and I was wandering how it looks so clear, and the refractions look so good, how?

And what was he talking about “setting its transparency out-of-bounds (i.e. > 1) for a neat special effect:

He means that he’s setting the transparency of the object, (which is a glass) higher than 1. It’s out of bounds and not a valid value for most objects, since transparency is measured from 0 to 1- and by setting the transparency of glass higher than 1, which is its limit, it then gives a special effect.

When I do that, it just stays invisible. And how is it so clear and no scratches?

Because it’s not an actual feature implemented into ROBLOX. (From what I’m looking at)

I’m very sorry to bump, but to circumvent this, add an invisible Highlight object to it. That will solve it disappearing.
