Patch notes for v1.0.12
Blackhole
- Disabled all scripts relating to this; spews out errors and causes server to stop functioning properly
Balanced Core
- Field compressor is now slightly less powerful than the regitity control
- Field compressor values (the amt. the temperature goes up by is somewhat randomized)
- Increased the speed that integrity goes down by after hitting 100000000K.
Control Room Improvements
- Removed gravity control table (it was being weird and had no purpose except for blackhole ) and replaced it with a more centralized startup button
- Increment issues fix
- Added some notes to tell people how to blow up the core in the control room
- Added some barriers in the control room
- Added some chairs and tables into the control room for your sitting needs :approval:
Seth
- All shop items except for the speed and gravity coils removed fron Seth’s shop
Signage/Navigation/Information improvements
- Navigation to coolant room is now inside the control room
- Signs at spawn pointing to control room and coolant room now available
- Added a few more announcement noise emitters across the map
- Removed security and rebel insurgerncy teams
Building Improvements
- Floor is thicker as you could see below the floor during supernova knockback and it was possible for a character with high ping to fall through the floor
- Lockdown doors that go into the void now have a thick wall behind them
Maintenance Task fixes
- Fixed a wonky maintenance task that would not let you go after you are done with it
- Disabled a maintenance task in sector F
Lighting
- Fixed lighting in cavern hall (trust me it was AWFUL before)
- Fixed lights in the maintenance area of Sector D that didn’t have BlackoutAffected (so they were still on in blackouts)
- Fixed the lack of lights in the maintenance classroom
- Ported some of the v1.1 Lighting changes onto the main branch
Building Fixes
- Variety of Minor build fixes
- Reduced part count too (its 1000 lower than before now :approval: )

Surface Building and Building Improvements
- Removed the surface building and surface area. It is no longer accessible.
- Reworked the Spawn Lobby
- Reworked the Cavern Area of Sector D
Fixes and Updates
- Fixed navigation issues around the facility. This includes removing all signs that point towards Sector E and F, as well as signs that didn’t point the correct directions
- Fixed a lab in Sector A that didn’t have a wall
- Fixed a lab in Sector A that had missing shelves, causing floating items
- Made significant changes to the way roofing is handle across MERC. This also removed all Z-fighting issues
- Removed access to 2 Sector A labs that didn’t have anything inside them
- Fixed some lights in Sector A not having the BlackoutAffected boolean attribute
- Reworked Seth’s dialogue to be less confusing and stop referring to the non-existant Sector F
- Fixed a couple of room signs in Sector C being copy and pasted
- Fixed some of the Sector A roof beams intruding into a couple people’s offices
- Removed outdated paper messages in Sector D
- Added additional navigational signs pointing to Pump Networking
- Made the Gas Valve sign bigger
- Fixed some lights in Sector C that are half inside the wall
- Removed a couple of empty offices in Sector B and replaced them with a newly-made poster
- Further decreased the number of lights in MERC, this time focusing on Sector D. This updated removes ~150 light instances from MERC

New Custom Prompt System
- A new custom proximity prompt system has been introduced. This system is not finalized and is currently being worked on. We appreciate suggestions on how we can improve this system!
Fixes and Updates
- On the main branch (Current release), Sector E/F have been removed from existence. These areas still exist in the dev branch. This decreases the amount of parts that are always loaded
- Several build fixes have been made in Sector A.
- Lighting has been reworked in Sector A, the visitor spawn area, and the Cargo Bay. This removed ~200 light instances from the game. More lighting optimization fixes is expected to come soon!
- Seth has been given an animation
- Fixed a hole in the terrain on the outskirts of the surface.

Added Leaderstats for Currency
- Your in-game currency value will now show on the leaderboard
Maintenance Tasks
- Fixed a few problematic maintenance tasks and polished up the maintenance module to work more efficiently
Core Systems Patches
- Fixed issues with the core not appearing after a supernova has occurred
- Fixed the issues with Polarization beams going into a below freezing temperature (for now this will bottem out, however in v1.1 the polarization beams will have more happen if this temperature is reached)
- Fixed the issue in which the core would go below absolute 0 in temperature (again for now this bottoms out but in v1.1 the core will stall out)

- Fixed some rare script errors in which the teleport sequence would fail
- Fixed some proton commands (anthony also fixed the command handler)

New Dialogue System
- All in game NPCs have been given a new dialogue system that is more interactive and cross platform friendly. Because of this default Roblox dialogue elements have been removed.
Maintenance Tasks
- More maintenance tasks have been added and the current task screen has been updated - - with more specific locations on where to find them.
Fixes and Updates
- Fixed many holes in the terrain and various increment problems.
- Added more error checking to prevent game soft locks to event handlers.
- Fixed various scripts that were looking for moved or removed instances.
- Patched various Proton commands to use updated modules.

- Fixed issue where main menu loading screen would not play
- Fixed issue where ending supernova cutscene would play prematurely
- Fixed several issues with server regeneration after a supernova occurs

Economy Balance Changes
- Rebalanced the way the economy is handled - Maintenance tasks are now more frequent with a random task having a 1/5 chance of popping up every 20 seconds
- Each maintenance task is worth less money now - Giving you $10 to $30 instead of $150.
Fixes and Updates
- Fixed several holes in the map
- Fixed one visitor spawnpoint being inside a chair
- Maybe(?) fixed issue where the Proton GUI was blocking the walk button for some mobile users
- The Low graphics warning GUI will now show up if your graphics level is below level 5 instead of 4
- The power demand system has been reworked to not be so ridiculous now
