Group Payouts cannot find member

Despite the user being in the group, they cannot be found when trying to payout.

Browser: Chrome 141 on Windows 10

Expected behavior

I should be able to find the user and pay the user the robux.

No, I can’t. They exist and I have them friended, they are in the group, but no I can’t search for them.

Search does not match an existing player's username

Try looking up this user (@vipisdabest) on Roblox. The search returns with the following: [image] System Information: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics, 16 GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Browser Information: Firefox 141 on Windows 10 I’m not sure if this is the only case of a faulty search, but it suggests its existence.

Common issue with Roblox trying to exclude potentially harmful usernames.
Just ought to wait now!

Yeah, his username contains the word “dumb”. Makes sense.

Update for those wondering: To payout, just use the UserID. This worked for me and I managed to pay out the user.

Yes, we have a fallback here with user ID matching. We’re aware of the gap with finding people by name being flaky, it’s on our roadmap to fix in the future. Thanks for bringing this up.
