Group rank and role functions are indefinitely yielding server scripts when you first join a place and create a new server.
Here’s an open sourced repro place that demonstrates the issue. In Edit mode you’ll see a script adding leaderstats after checking a player’s role. Hit Play and you won’t see stats in-game. Comment out the role checking part and you will the stats show up after playing in-game.
Note that this issue does not happen in studio.

This seems to be fixed if you do the following:
- Join the place, the leaderboard doesn’t show the stats
- Ask someone else to join the place, and once they’re in leave.
- Rejoin the existing server you just left, you should see the leaderstats however there will be no numbers next to the Player’s name who joined you initially.
