This bug is pretty simple, if you put a some parts in a folder, select them all, and then group them the model that gets created is put into the workspace instead of the folder

I can see how that might get annoying. What would you expect it to do if you grouped 2 parts, one in a folder and the other in a different folder?
Them to be parented to the parent of the first item in the selection (in this case, the model would be parented to the first folder because the first part’s parent was the first folder. If you selected the second part first, the model’s parent would be the second folder)
