Groups/Communities Remain Locked After Successful Account Untermination

Bug: When my account was unterminated through a succesful appeal, the system fails to unlock the communites owned by that account.

My account, richgeeks, was successfully restored and is currently in good standing. However, every community that became locked during the termination remains locked even through the original moderation action was reversed. Because the account has already been restored, there is no active violation available for me to appeal through the Violations & Appeals page. This creates a broken support loop where the account is accessible, but the communities connected to the reversed moderation action remain inaccessible.

Reproduction Steps: Review my account (richgeeks). Observe that it successfully passed its appeal and is 100% un-terminated and in good standing.

Review the communities owned by this account:

Richgeeks — ID: 63397965

Obamason — ID: 647495235

Forsent — ID: 426759108

JZN — ID: 428958173

Lowkenuinly — ID: 588303120

Observe that all of these communities are still locked even though the account that owns them has been successfully restored. Review my Violations & Appeals page. Observe that the account moderation has already been successfully appealed and the account is no longer terminated. Result: Because my account is un-terminated and back in good standing, but all of the communities tied to the previous moderation action remain locked, I am stuck in a bugged state where the account has been restored but the associated communities have not. The community restrictions appear to have failed to update after the successful appeal.

Impact: As a designer and creator, this issue has completely shut down my ability to earn Robux through the communities I built. These groups were my primary source of Robux and the foundation of my entire creator workflow. With all of them locked, I can no longer properly manage or release content, continue growing my communities, access important creator features, or earn from the work I have already invested significant time and effort into. Until these communities are restored, my Roblox business and creator activity are essentially frozen, despite my account having already been successfully appealed and restored.

Expected behavior

Expected Behavior: When an account termination is successfully appealed and the account is restored to good standing, communities that were locked as a result of that same moderation action should also have their restrictions reversed. The affected communities should be unlocked and accessible again because the account they are associated with, richgeeks, has already been successfully restored. The account restoration and community moderation status should remain synchronized instead of leaving the communities permanently locked after the original account action has been reversed.

I sent an appeal on Jul 14, 2026, 10:31 PM and waited days for a response but got nothing except this automated message

Hey,@eichgeeks, I’m in the same situation as you; my group was banned due to issues related to the DMCA policy (in May 2026), and this problem has not been resolved to this day. I hope your group can be unlocked as soon as possible.

So I got all my groups back but the thing is hundreads of my clothes are archived and I can’t unarchive them

so the thing that worked for me was sending another appeal in the technical report category and in the specific experience issue for the subcategory.

@richgeeks,Thank you for sharing your experience. May I ask how I can request technical support to obtain a ticket number?
