Halloween Lighting Feedback

Does this lighting look good for a halloween event

Ehhhhh
Could be better, could be worse

I don’t want to be rude, but in all honesty, it looks horrible. Again, no offence intended, just constructive criticism; it doesn’t look like you put in much effort. It seems like you simply changed the time of day, removed the sky, and got an orange tint effect from the toolbox. You could definitely improve it. Just curious, though, what is your game?

ty for the honesty my friend made it and i told him that so i needed proof

its kinda like evade you get chased by things and they duplicate up to 64

Add lanterns with glowing effects, some street lights too, its too dark.

I mean if its a retro style game then sure but if you’re trying to make good lighting I think it looks quite bad, maybe you can add an atmosphere and increase air density to make it look a bit more foggy?

do you have any tips on how he could fix it he said

Change the sky, add fog, add bloom, add colour correction, add ambience, etc. Just start off with adding all the lighting instances, and then you can play around with them. It’s really easy to work with—you can get something that looks nice really quickly.

I feel like you should be able to judge how it looks yourself. If you’re happy with it, go with it. It’s not super important to the game. As long as your core gameplay is fun, most players wouldn’t care too much. However, in my opinion, it looks like the aftermath of a forest fire with fatal amounts of smoke :sob:
