Hardest Roblox Difficulty Chart And Obby!

Its fine, Ima start making it a little easier and taking everyone’s ideas ( except for sum people 2 ) and mash dem all up

Hi NubblyFry,

I’ve played your game for about 10 minutes so far, and I don’t seem to have got further than the second level due to the spinners. Every now and then, a spinner will jump a few degrees or freeze for a few seconds. This makes them turn out of sync, making the game pretty much impossible to play.

I look forward to seeing future improvements though, good luck! :slight_smile:

The question I normally ask those when they make these kinds of games is that,
why should I play your chart obby over another chart obby or why is your obby harder than others? Or what makes it that players should opt to play your chart obby over the millions on Roblox? I can answer these question from my pov and I’ll be clear and real with you, I don’t have a reason for your obby to be chosen over others.

Problems:


  1. It’s definetly hard all right, you got that part down but it’s imprudently hard. There isn’t any checkpoints meaning if you have a obby that is already difficult enough and having no checkpoints leaves a fat dislike when a player leaves

  2. Moving parts cause frustrating lag - What I mean by this is that is the lag from the rotating parts cause raised ping such as players teleporting and walking in place. It also has an affect on the moving parts making the parts past right when you think they are infront of you

  3. The building set - Don’t leave your building set next to your obby. That is almost like baking a cake then just leave all your materials out as along as the case is out, What you can do is store it in Server Storage and pull it out when you are to build new stafes

  4. The obby gets hard too fast - Instead as in the word Chart, stop fairly easy. I can just imagine how hard it gets from there on out if the first levels are pretty difficult already.

Things that were good:

Focusing on the bad things only is a poor way of giving criticism, it’s always good to give both side of the spectrum, I’ll tell you some things I liked

Stage Design - I really thought the stage design was fun and challenging! it would be definetley 10x more enjoyable if there was checkpoints

Thumbnail - I thought the thumbnail was nice and brought across the point that you were trying to show an obby. It looked put together well as well!

All in all, the game definetly needs some work. I do hope I can guide you in some sense.

Don’t take this personally or feel like I’m saying your game stinks or sucks which is doesn’t. It has potential for sure and with a few improvments there would definetly put it up there!

Ok I got it, Thanks for your feedback but the issue I had with this was that you kinda just posted it before reading everything so you can follow up. I already restated multiple times I was gonna fix lag and the checkpoints thing, the obby was always ment to be hard regardless, thats why I never named the difficulty’s :wink: like I didnt put easy, the first 3 are kinda randomized to test peoples skills before they play the hardest obby! The games still a WIP. I Understand about all of this but its kinda stressful to do all of this, especially because Im still learning lua and a lot of other stuff to even make this thanks for your POV tho Im just happy you left it off with a good ending!

Making games and then sharing them is hard especially because opinions, I wont respect people who treat me and my games like a piece of trash and Im just gonna ignore them, at first It sounded like you kinda was just telling me all of the bad stuff. I understand you and what you mean and Ill make sure this is fixed thanks for the support

This game might be playable on mobile if you didn’t have particles and shadows. Also as others mentioned you did kind of spam the moving parts.

I thought the lack of music was odd. Monstercat has some good official music.

Also, no checkpoints is annoying. You could at least do checkpoints per team as a bandage fix.

Also I’m having the same problem as this:

An “R to reset” button would be nice.

Finally, the spinners are a bit de-synced, so having them match up would be nice.

(also the difficulties do have names such as “Smart, but not hard” unlike what you claim)

Im actually fixing all of these problems right now lol, but also for people who say this might be impossible for mobile players, yes Ik im going to add a shift lock for mobile thing soon. But at the beginning It litterly states this game isnt aiming mostly towards mobile players and will be tought

Yes. That is good, but I hope you will see the difference of trash feedback and feedback.

Normal feedback have evidence to supply and are reasonable. Normal feedback can even be if something in the game is not well-made, people can call it trash. I have paid in the past for people to give feedback, and I was thankful for them just pointing out what was horribly made. I did not even ask for solutions or tips.

Keep learning, and Keep working :wink:. You’ll get there! All games on Roblox are a WIP and none of them are 100% perfect, even the front page games gave flaws.

Just to touch on the checkpoint factor. I definetly understand that the idea of it is to be very difficult. But there should be a lined drawn between very hard and annoying. I am not going to sit here and dispute about wether to add checkpoints or not since it’s your game and in the end, you’ll be making the changes not me :smile:. Even games like the Impossible obby one of the most hardest obbies known on Roblox have checkpoints mostly for the sake of the player experience. You wouldn’t want to make it come into a tough game and when you die you must start over. That’s where the “never coming back”, “Dislikes” as well with low player count comes in. If you truly feel you wouldn’t want to add checkpoints please don’t let others pressure you into something you wouldn’t want to do. Just keep working and keep and open mind and you’ll be good :wink:

Ok I learned that If you turn your graphics up it actually reduces a lot of lag ( being real here )
