The Guide

Host

Host, co-host, trainers, and helpers will get in 20 minutes before the training begins. They go to the room next to the stage and sit in there.

Lock the server as soon as they get on so nobody but Mr+ can join

They will unlock the server 15 minutes before training begins. Trainees will join the server 15 minutes before it begins and sit in the auditorium. They are not allowed to be standing up. This tests their ability to follow orders.

Once it is time to begin, the Mr+ will lock the server so nobody can join.

The Trainers and Helpers will come out of the room and line up on the white lines on the stage. The Host and Co-Host will follow after them. The host will stand on the red line closest to the audience and the Co-host will stand on the red line to the side.

The Host will go over the rules, which are gonna be down below to copy and paste, one at a time. Trainees, trainers, and helpers may NOT talk during the time that the host is doing rules. Helpers will leave the white lines once the Host says something along the lines of “Helpers will be coming around the room to give you your group letter.

As the Host is going over the rules, Helpers will go around the audience and name the trainees a group letter A-J based on their rank and the rank their train for. Example- “Group A” Once they are done they will come back to the white lines. Trainees training for barista are group A-C. Baristas training for senior barista are group D-G. Senior Baristas training for Shift leader is group H-J.

Once the host is done with the rules, they will say something along the lines of “Trainers may now go stand at their group desk. (Trainers stand on the white line next to the table. Not behind it or in front. Stand on the white line beside it.) (Helpers will go with the trainers and stand on the white lines along the wall once you walk in. They are to the right.) ANY TRAINEE WHO FOLLOWS WILL BE KICKED.

After the Trainers and Helpers are in the room. The host will say something along the lines of “Trainees may now go to the training room and stand on the purple line.” ANY TRAINEE WHO DOES NOT STAND ON THE PURPLE LINES WILL BE KICKED.

The Host and Co-Host will then come into the room and the host will go over the training info, which again will be down below.

Once the Host is done, they will say something along the lines of “Trainees may now stand behind a cash register at their group table.” ANY TRAINEE WHO TAKES TOO LONG OR DOES NOT LISTEN WILL BE KICKED.

Trainers will then begin the testing (Copy and paste test will be down below for trainers.) Then the Host and Co-Host will go to the ranking room and wait.

During the training, the trainer will test the trainees. If the trainee gets 3 strikes for being rude, trolling, or anything against the rules they will be kicked from the server. EXPLOITERS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY BANNED. If the trainee gets 3 answers wrong or has bad grammar/spelling mistakes will be kicked and have to retry at a different time.

Once the trainers are done training, the trainees who passed will be taken to the ranking room, by the trainer, to be ranked. ANY TRAINEE WHO WANDERS OFF OR DOES NOT LISTEN WILL BE KICKED.

Once the trainee is taken to the ranking room, they will stand on the line of the rank they are getting promoted to, trainee - barista, barista - senior barista, senior barista - shift leader.

After they are ranked the Host or Co-host will kick them and attach the message that will be provided down below onto the part where the reason they were kicked goes.

Once all the trainees are done and are ranked, the session will conclude. Host, Co-Host, trainers, and helpers may stay if they wish to chat or do something.

All greetings have different names so pick the one with your name if you are the host!
if you see xx:00 then paste the time that training is. Example: If a training is at 11:00 AM then when you see xx:00 put 11 as the xx. Also if it is pm put pm or if it is am put am.

Hello! Welcome to the xx:00 AM/PM (choose am or pm) training session. My name is [YOUR USERNAME HERE] and I am a / the (rank) at Harlem Cafe. I will be your host for this session.

After that, THE HOST will paste these one at a time.

Before we continue with the session, I’d like to say thank you to all the Management members who took out part of their day to assist with this training.

While we proceed with the session, You will be splitting up into different groups. Do not be alarmed. Each group will have their own timings on when they complete the training.

Now, These are the training expectations. Remain silent as I give them out. If you speak during this time, you will be kicked and have to attend a different training.

I will state vital rules and regulations that are beneficial for all of you to succeed in today’s training. I expect all of you to give your utmost attention.

Our first expectation is that you resemble the moral and superior qualities that we expect from every single one of you.

Those qualities include using grammar at all times, having maturity, and respecting one another despite rank or status.

Our second expectation is that if you have any question at any point during the session, please say "PTS’’ and a trainer or helper will answer your questions. We ask that you save them for a time for when a trainer or I ask for questions.

Our third expectation is that for some reason you need to go AFK for any reason, please contact a trainer and tell them how long you’ll be gone, and a general reason why. We will not allow you to be gone for over 10 minutes because you would have missed too much material.

Going AFK without notifying a trainer will result in removal from the session. If you are disconnected for some reason, be sure to find the session host or your trainer on the group. If you have not joined it yet, we suggest that you do. If you are not allowed to rejoin, attend a different training.

We will now be transitioning into our desired training areas. Please, all those who are training stay seated. ALL TRAINEES.

All TRAINERS AND HELPERS please head to the training room. Any trainees who follow will be kicked from the server and will have to attend a different training.

DO NOT COPY THIS PART (Let all the trainers and helpers get into the training room and wait for one to pm you “Ready”)

All trainees may head to the training room and stand on the purple lines. If you do not follow these rules you will be removed from the session.

A TRAINER WILL STAND AT THE FRONT DESK AND GO OVER THIS:

Welcome to the Training Room! Please be standing on the line shoulder to shoulder so we can begin. Remain on the red lines unless told otherwise.

PTS is disabled at the moment. Everyone should be silent and paying attention. Those who speak or move will be removed from the session.

Lastly, please remain focused as this information is crucial for your success.

The primary role of a Barista is to greet our guests, take their orders, and bring them their food.

It is CRUCIAL to welcome each guest when they start approaching your register.

A greeting should welcome them to Harlem Cafe and ask them what they would like to order.

For example, "Welcome to Harlem Cafe! My name is [Your name], What can I get you?

You can add emojis or little designs. Make sure it remains appropriate and suitable for the café environment.

After you greet them you will take their order. Once they list what they want, you will go get it and hand it to them by using the :handto command.

Here at Harlem Cafe, the order limit for every customer is 4 items. If a customer tries to order over the limit, politely inform them of the item limit.

Once you have given them their order, you will tell them off with a send-off.

Send-offs should include thanking them for coming and having a good day/night.

One example is "Thank you for choosing Harlem Cafe! Have a good day.

Two of our amazing trainers will now demonstrate taking a customer’s order. Please remain silent and pay attention! Not doing so will get you kicked from the server.

DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THIS:(PICK TWO TRAINERS TO DO THIS)

Proceed to copy and paste this once the demonstration is over.

Now, I will be giving you information on how to deal with disruptive customers.

If you ever come in contact with exploiters, screenshot it and send it to an MR+, if an MR+ is currently in the café, alert them ASAP about the exploiter.

Here is how to handle an exploiter.

  1. Ask them to stop respectfully.

  2. If they ignore the request, you are to issue them a warning.

  3. If they fail to listen again, you are to immediately alert an MR+ so they can handle it. If there are no Management members in the game, contact them on the group wall.

Thank you all for remaining silent and patient. I am pleased to inform you that this concludes all of the information needed to pass the test and succeed here at Harlem Cafe!

All of you have a letter above your head, please find the trainer with the same letter as you.

I wish you all the best of luck during this session!

Trainers

It is STRONGLY advised to copy and paste these sentences.

Hello, everyone. My name is …your name… and I will be your trainer for this session. Wonderful to meet you all.

PTS is no longer in effect. Do not be worried, as you will have the opportunity to ask questions further into the session.

For this part of the session, we will be performing something similar to the demonstration show earlier.

This session will be divided into different parts which will include greetings, a quiz, and a café simulation.

When I come up to you, you will need to state your greeting. I will give you 1 minute to prepare your greeting. Once you have prepared your greeting, you will say “!Done”.

I will then be acting as a customer to see how you would perform as a barista.

I will be going over a brief reminder of how to take an order.

Start by stating your greeting, be sure to include something about taking their order. Once they have stated their order, you will proceed to get it.

Of course, there is no way to actually get their food at the moment so you will role-play it by saying Gets food. You must state my order in that part though.

Once you have gotten their food you will bring it back and hand it to them by using :handto and then state your farewell and thank you to them.

Example: Thank you for choosing Harlem Cafe! We hope to see you again soon!"

Does anyone have any questions?

Good, we will now begin!

Please state your greetings as I come up to your register one at a time.

Once they have stated their greeting you will ask for your food which is…

May I have a chocolate ice cream and a latte?

Go along with the trainee in the order system and wait for them to complete your meal.

After that, you will keep track of how many strikes they have on a virtual notepad or paper.

Quiz

PM EACH TRAINEE INDIVIDUALLY AND ASK THEM THESE:

How many warnings do you issue to a troller? How many to an exploiter?
DONT COPY AND PASTE THIS BUT THE ANSWER IS 3 FOR TROLLING AND 0 FOR EXPLOITER.

How do you contact a MR+?
DONT COPY AND PASTE BUT THE ANSWER IS BY THE GROUP WALL OR VIA OTHER COMMUNICATIONS.

Who is the creator of this game?
DONT COPY AND PASTE BUT THE ANSWER IS SNZAY.

ONCE EVERYONE IS DONE WITH THE QUIZ, UPDATE HOW MANY STRIKES THEY HAVE ONCE AGAIN.

Café Simulation

Now we will be moving onto the last part of this training. Exploiter/trolling simulator.

I will be acting as an exploiter/troller. You will need to do what you were told earlier. Hope you were listening!

DONT COPY AND PASTE BUT YOU WILL JUST DO RANDOM THINGS LIKE “AAAAAA” “AIDFNSFNSIFIUFN” OR SPAM AND TROLL. USE COMMANDS AND STUFF FOR THE EXPLOITER PART.

UPDATE THEIR STRIKES AGAIN

Conclusion

The training has now concluded. I will announce your results. Best of luck to all.

If you happen to fail this session, you will be kicked from the server and will be more than welcome to attend another training session.

DONT COPY AND PASTE BUT NAME THEM “PASSED TEST” OR “FAILED TEST”

IF THEY FAILED, SAY THIS TO THEM:

Unfortunately, you have failed this test. Do you have any questions before the session concludes?

IF THEY ASK HOW THEY FAILED, YOU MAY NOT TELL THEM.

SAY THIS TO THE ONES WHO PASSED:

Congratulations on passing this session! Do not leave as I will be taking you to get promoted.

Please follow me to the ranking room. Remain silent as we are heading over there. Once we get in here, stand on the lines that have the rank name you are being ranked to.

THE HOST OR CO-HOST WILL THEN RANK THEM AND KICK THEM FROM THE SERVER. THE FAREWELL SHOULD SAY THIS:

Congratulations on passing! You have been promoted! Why not head on down to the Cafe to celebrate?

End of Session
