Having trouble making original designs

Hello there!

I am creating my favorite genre of games: a tycoon game! But the issue is how can I make good UI for it? I went to many different games to find inspiration but all of them had basic/terrible UI. I couldn’t really make anything good other than a ripoff of a Pet Sim UI, but I don’t want to use a copy of another UI for my game.

It’s not bad but the background is very plain, maybe add a background, gradient or pattern to it.

Yeah but it’s a ripoff of Pet Sim UI.
