Currently, there are bestselling heads which violate the current validation system, yet remain onsale and undeleted, creating a loophole in which the creator can profit from items which violate the Terms of Service without being punished.
In one instance, a Dynamic Head with nearly a hundred thousand favorites hasn’t validated for two months now, yet still remains undeleted, and the creators behind this item are allowed to sell this it despite obvious signs that these aren’t supposed to be allowed as of today.
Many other instances with a similar amount of favorites exist, where these heads are allowed to be sold without any regulation, bypassing the Terms of Service and current validation systems, and creating an environment where other users are unable to compete with old material which skips the latest requirements.
(Another example; Head with 99.5k favorites, fails to meet validation requirements in multiple factors.)
(Or, even this head with only 10k favorites still fails to meet the requirements.)
Expected behavior
Expectation:
Items that fail to meet the latest validation requirements should not be left onsale neither kept up as heads for people to use; These requirements are specifically put in place to prevent misuse from occurring, and these heads clearly never met the standard for what Roblox expects from heads being uploaded to the platform.
I expect Roblox to:
- Automatically review older heads to see if they match these new requirements, if they do not they should be deleted.
While in the process of this, these should be manually removed. Heads that fail to meet these validation requirements unrighteously tip the scale of the market in their favor.
I will leave a list of the bestselling heads which do so in my private message.
