Heavily Requested Update on the Collectible Eyes of Wrath Face Series – Visual Inconsistency

Hi Roblox Team,

I hope all is well. I’d like to share some feedback regarding the Eyes of Wrath face series, as there’s a noticeable visual inconsistency between the items:

This image shows all three “Eyes of Wrath” faces in Roblox, placed side by side to highlight visual inconsistencies in the set:

Eyes of Azurewrath (Left):
No glow effect at all, with a flatter and more static appearance. Despite being the first in the series, it lacks the visual flair of the others.

Eyes of Crimsonwrath (Center):
Has a subtle red glow, but it’s not very vibrant or noticeable in darker environments. The mouth design also looks slightly off compared to the others.

Eyes of Emeraldwrath (Right):
Was recently updated to be significantly brighter and more vibrant, with a stronger glow that stands out clearly — making it the most polished of the three.

For consistency and polish across the collection, would it be possible to update Azurewrath and Crimsonwrath to match the visual quality and glow of Emeraldwrath?

If so, I’d greatly appreciate it if this feedback could be forwarded to the Avatar Team, especially since they’ve recently been updating and improving other limited accessories and faces.

For reference, I’ve included a comparison of the current Eyes of Azurewrath to an improved version that fits better with the series

This small tweak of adding a subtle blur around the eyes has been a much-requested improvement coming from many traders and collectors, and I hope it can be done.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

Best regards,
Kypsirc

Expected behavior

A glow/blur effect added around the Eyes of Azurewrath collectible face and possibly Enhanced on the Eyes of Crimsonwrath as well.

I think it’s unlikely they’ll make any changes here, this face is 16 years old and the catalog-asset-bugs team only considers making stylistic changes for assets released in the last ~6 months, unless the current behavior is truly bugged.

I do think a significant number of owners of this face would support this change, but some might also complain. That’s something Roblox looks out for, in addition to the fact that they have to prioritize these requests against dozens of other bugs.

Totally understand that Roblox has to consider potential pushback, but this is a pretty rare item — only about 10 active owners — and just about all of them have been vocal in wanting this update.

I’ve personally owned the face for over two years, and in that time I’ve seen a lot of people avoid or even openly dislike it simply because it lacks the glow effect the others have. It’s consistently viewed as the odd one out, which feels unfair given its place in the set.

The update to Eyes of Emeraldwrath showed that even small visual improvements can have a big impact in demand. Applying that same update here would not only bring the set together but also renew interest in a face that many collectors have written off.

Thanks for your reply,

Roblox does not view the past as anything valuable so this is why I don’t go out of my way to make bug reports or requests for things that have been missing or bugged for years.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, we will not be making this update. We agree that the look of the faces are inconsistent across all three, and that the glow is really cool. But in this case, this isn’t exactly a bug. This is more of a personal preference. If someone asked us to change the green eyes to remove the glow to make it consistent with the original, we won’t make that change either.

Thank you for understanding.
