I’m trying to animate an attack in blender, but I had to go back and adjust an elbow.
I shifted the elbow, and now the hand spins like crazy. There are no keyframes in those part of the animation so its confusing the heck out of me as well.

Here’s a video example of the hand spinning like crazy despite there being no keyframes.
For some reason whenever I try to go back and change something in the animation, it flips out various things like this. I am unsure why it does this, because there are no keyframes whatsoever in those parts.

It looks like rotations or gimbal lock.
You can try applying an Euler Filter in the Graph Editor, or changing the Rotation Mode in the Transform panel.
