I want to play vr properly but it seems im too stupid to figure out why my controllers just dont connect to the game and it works perfectly fine in roblox studio

Have you tried playing multiple games or just one game? It could be an issue with a game specifically or the platform or something else.
ive played a few games with vr on roblox and all of them i join my controllers dont seem to work its not connected at all

are you playing from an Oculus Quest 2 (or any headset device) or are you running Roblox on your PC with the controllers connected from there?
I ask because there is a setting in the Roblox settings/esc menu for VR. It might be turned off, but I think it’s only on PC.
my vr setting is turned on and i have a htc vive and im using steamvr
Just found this, but Roblox has an article on this saying htc vive with steamvr is supported. There’s info there. Maybe you don’t have “OpenXR as the backend for SteamVR” or the controllers aren’t connected properly?
If that doesn’t help, I think you should make a bug report. I can give more info on that if need-be.

my controllers work fine when im not in a roblox game
got this earlier out of the blue (headset was charging)
tried to play roblox vr just a few minutes ago and it wasn’t working either; wouldn’t put my VR into “perspective” if ykwim, but would SOMEtimes detect vr mode (sometimes UI would change, sometimes id spawn in a VR-designated area) although most was just like regular desktop roblox.
edit: i was filling out a bug report but devforum did a silly and went to the profile page, clearing my entire report. someone else do it porfa
