Help on designing my Shop UI

I’m creating a shop for my game, and is very uncompleted and i dont know what i can add, since is very empty:

The doge spot is an example of how it looks.

The square is the currency of my game.

I hope you can help me, Thanks :+1: And yeah, i must say that this shop design sucks : /

Some adjustments you should make are fixing the text “NEW!” and “Shop” so they do not overlap your shop scroll frame. You can most likely do so by modifying their ZIndex. The text for the Doge description seems too small and if the yellow square is currency, I suggest make the text size of price to be smaller.

Changes you can or should do would be as follows:

  • Create your own scroll bar or modify the existing bar to look better
  • Modify your imagery of an item to seem more connected to it’s description, as if they were one element
  • Display information about the shop on your UI, like a Header just saying shop would help

I am no artist but the above should help improve your design at least a little bit.

I know that, I’m working on a close button for it

I don’t know if I’m going to make a plus (+) button which gives more information about the pet, or make a stand where a person gives information about it, what do you think? (I can give images)

The position looks a bit bad, making it smaller may look worse, position is the wrong thing.

What do you mean with that

Nice idea! Thanks

A button to display more information sounds like a good idea that I haven’t seen any other games do.

By making one element I meant having the description, image, and so on more together. Normally a game shows the item name with a picture beneath that, and then a description further beneath that. You instead have the image with rarity then on the side is a box of unrelated color containing the item name, description, and price.

Wow, @alphawolvess covered 99% of what I was going to say. Regardless, I’d recommend making the item display brighter, or removing its shadow altogether. The shadow makes the rarity, and the item itself hard to see.

Maybe round off SLIGHTLY the corners ? Also work w/ color palettes so they all fit w/ each other and not look awkward.

@alphawolvess - Well, i thought about description will be in the frame of the button to display more information, since the description looks small at.

@Secretum_Flamma - Yeah, i will do it :+1:

@martxn - Yeah, well, using Roundify with Scrolling Frames is kinda hard to manage for me, but i will try.

Thanks for the help
