Help on mechanics on my game

I am currently working on a game called zombie game lol or for short (ZGL), and I want a similar feeling as apocalypse rising, but I have a small issue with guns, should I just keep it the same as a normal gun?, or have similar gun mechanics to a game called “Isle” on Roblox, where if you click on a player you stand still and shoot at them.

Please give me your opinion on which mechanic looks good to use.

I recommend the classic gun mechanics since they’re the most comfortable and intuitive, as well as have high skill ceiling.
