Sounds fun I do think you may want to have servers that are 8-12 players because if you only have so many player then it would be easy to find out who is infected or not. Other than that it sounds like a really cool idea.
Unless you generate new SCP’s each time, players will learn and remember the qualities of each SCP, so the researcher class would become useless after the player becomes familiar with the SCP’s. I would combine the researcher and Medical as a result.
Also, I would recommend giving class D personnel some way of overrunning security. In SCP games ive played where the security is impenetrable and testing on class D’s are slow, It gets boring as a class D.
SCPs will not be actual SCPs from the wiki but instead will have randomized properties each game. Class Ds are probably the most likely to get infected but in the map there will be items the CDs can use to their advantage like Keycards, weapons, that kinda of thing. And I also decided that if they can get a Level 3 card (either from killing/robbing MTF or rare spawn) they will be able to come back as a chaos insurgent and try to save their friends.
Sounds good. I would still combine the medic and researcher because it would reduce complexity and the classes are pretty similar.
well in the SCP universe there are the Science Department and Medical department which would both do those separate things which is how I would also like it here.
