Help with Raycasting

So I don’t really know anything about Raycasting I just haven’t learned it.
So what I want to do is I want to create a beam that looks something like this
image

So it goes from your HumanoidRootPart to the part in front of you

So if you walk farther it also scales bigger

Same with rotating if you move it also adjusts to that

If this is hard please don’t spend your time on this post but if it’s easy please let me know how I can create this

You just need to get where you start and where you end:

local Ray = Ray.new(HumanoidRootPartPosition, EndPosition - HumanoidRootPartPosition)

That will make a ray where the HumanoidRootPart is to the specified endpoint.

Can you explain what your trying to achieve with using raycasting? It

I found a solution thanks for your reply’s
