Help with simulator growth/advertisement strategy?

Hello forum! Today I need help with a game growth strategy. My primary goal is to achieve at least 2.5k concurrents. Plan:

  1. ??? and get to at least 2.5K concurrnents
  2. Get picked up by Automated sorts [Fighting, Simulator, Etc] and get picked up in the never-ending sort promotion (essential)

Let me run down what has happened so far:

  • Scattered youtube views, approximately 500k total views in last 2 weeks
  • Added to Xbox featured, secures about 500 concurrents at any time
  • Ran an an absurd amount in sponsors to prop up game initially, secured about 1.25 mil plays total but ultimately only returned about 40% of robux invested
  • Got picked up on Three different sorts [fighting, simulator, up-and-coming] after holding about 2k players for a week, but restarted the servers for a quick update and got removed instantly (RIP) Am now starting from square one again

So, I have an abundance of money to invest (500k+), but unlike I nievely believed before this all started, throwing money at sponsors doesn’t work. I put all of the last ad run money into Sponsors across multiple platforms, but it didn’t add up to much. My game makes a lot of money, but the plays on sponsors just weren’t enough. I peaked at 2.5k concurrents.

It’s clear that Sponsors aren’t enough. Does anyone have any guidance how I can use my already proped-up game, and my abundance of robux, to make the best of this? More efficient way of advertising? Any advice welcome.

Three things:

  1. You need analytics! We cannot help you if you cannot identify whether the issue with maintaining CCUs is a bottleneck in gameplay, retention, or lack of monetization! Make sure to get analytics on playtime, average session length, average robux per paying player, etc.
  2. You need to run ad/sponsor tests to only run things with higher CTRs… don’t “throw money” at things always invest in sound, graphically pleasing marketing content
  3. I would not invest until you either have better analytics or a better ad/sponsor CTR.
