So recently one of the mobile testers for my game reported a weird bug that only occurs on mobile.
For some reason, most of the time, whenever he taps any ui it resets the cameras rotation and zoom (it is also affected by roblox’s built in ui). I’ve tested this myself on and I-pad and it is very infuriating having your camera reset whenever you try to type in chat or something like that.
I’ve also received reports that the camera can sometimes freeze when you join and become unmovable until rejoin (again, only on mobile), so if anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to fix it, please tell me. Thank you!
I’m guessing this is fixable with a script, so i am putting this in scripting support. If i have made a bad decision please let me know.
The only bad decision I see is not providing us a link to the experience. You are a part in developing more than the experiences in your creations so we don’t know which one contains this problem
If you don’t want to share your game, at least share a handful of scripts within your game.
We may be able to find issues in the scripts and fix them for you
Also, share media of the bug happening. I actually think I know what you’re talking about, but I’m not sure.
Go to the Roblox menu (in-game)>settings>Camera type and change it to Classic instead of Follow
