Honestly, if you know Blender already. I would just stick with that as it’s a very powerful, and better yet, free tool that you can use for modeling.
I personally think C4D is outdated. I remember seeing C4D back in the day (roughly 5 years ago) used for most things. But blender has taken the 3D development scene by a storm. I would definitely stick with blender as it’s now more main stream and easy to get help with.

Blender 2.8 is significantly better.
Don’t buy it! Or pirate it, as most do.
