When attributes were released, we asked for a way to spot them in the explorer since instances with tags and attribute data are important for developer purposes.
My own use cases include using tags to apply behaviors to things (making them sittable, edible, flammable, interactive, invisible at runtime, etc.) and attributes to modify those behaviors. I do this extremely widespread through a large sandbox world.
It seems like this need has been forgotten or enormously backlogged. This is still very important.
Please attach an icon or something to instances that have tags or attributes so I can find my configured objects.
You can search by tag only AFAIK, but this is a completely different and non-overlapping use-case. Not applicable here, I’m scanning the hierarchy while working, not searching for specific bulk instances.
This is also a different use-case. Such plugins don’t clearly differentiate the owning instance such as in the case of a model for a package which contains a nested model, which contains parts. The parts and the nested model both have tags and attributes. I need to see this information specifically in the hierarchy, particularly because if I forget to tag the nested model, that’s a configuration error.
