Hinge issues w/ constraints

Hello! Apologies if this is an improper category to post this, though I have no idea where else to put this. Anyways, I’m trying to make this physical dragging system where you can click and it’ll start dragging anything throughout the world.

I can’t tell if this is an issue with the actual hinges, the type of constraint I’m using, or something else.

Right now, I’m using an attachment on the instance you clicked, where you clicked. And then I’m using another attachment in a part about four studs out from the player. I’ve tried all kinds of constraints, spring, rope, alignposition, alignorientation, but none seem to allow me to open/close parts on hinges, so this is leading me to believe this is an issue in how I have my hinges setup?

Basically, heres my driver door:


I have a part in the middle of where the door and chassis meet, and have an attachment there, then one in the door at roughly the same spot though ive played with it trying to get it right.

Then my passenger:


Same thing as the driver really

Then finally, the hood:


Same exact story as the others

Here’s how my hinges are actually set up, the lower and upper angles correlate to the right things, and the player can also open and close and interact with doors with their body
