Hi there! I’m Yaltyx, a Dutch Developer working on a Low-Poly Openworld MMORPG! I’m planning to release our game in the following month and i believe it to be possible with an additional partner.
Our team:
Developer: @Yaltyx (Map Designer, UI Designer, 3D Modeler, Animator)
Developer: Available (Programmer)
About the Game:
Most UI is Complete for the Mechanics I had already planned, A part of the map is also finished. Of course, since it’ll be a 2 man project we’ll do the designing together as we’re both leading the project. It is our project and we are on equal grounds within the project.
About the Job:
I’m currently looking for a Programmer who can demonstrate fluency with Lua to become my partner in this project. I’m flexible when it comes to making progress. There aren’t any deadlines as long as progress is made.
All assets will be provided, so you will be able to focus on scripting.
You must:
Have a strong interest in the game concept
Be able to give your opinion on ideas and bring in new ones
Have initiative
Be comfortable with separating server-side coding and client-side coding
Have extensive knowledge of Roblox’s API
Be able to code in a consistent style
Have a strong sense of organization
Payment
Unfortunately, I am only able to offer a percentage of game revenue at this time.
@Yaltyx Project Lead 40% (Map Designer, UI Designer, 3D Modeler, Animator & Everything else)
(Available) Project Lead 40% (Programmer)
The remaining 20% will be going to the group for advertising and commissioned work.

You can contact me here on the Developer Forum although Discord is preferred.
I strongly prefer to have a Programmer whose timezone is max EST not earlier.
I’m the only builder, so i don’t need compensation. The Scripter however… well percentages are always a gamble. You just have to be willing to take the bet.
How do you simplify Quests, Custom Inventory, Professions and Abilities?
Unless you also program, you can really say how long an RPG will take. Also, in your original post you said you were planning to release in the following month which means you’ll be hammering on your partner to finish for then most likely.
By not making them advanced? They don’t have to be so complicated. And yes i’ve programmed a bit, i can say of myself that i have a very basic understanding of lua. And i have seen people script these systems before. So i know how long they could take. Also, that deadline was an Estimate. at this point i don’t really care about that deadline anymore. I’m trying to get a perfect product, not some rushed game just to harvest some Robux. So no, I won’t hammer the Game to be released by then.
Coming from someone with an RPG right now, a custom inventory, ability system, and quest system take a lot longer than you think to make. If you rush the scripter you’re going to get broken work and that’s ultimately going to lead to the games failure. When looking to work for a studio I also like to know how they intend on getting the game popularized. Do you have youtubers, lots of sponsoring/advertising funds, or anything along those lines? Some sort of compensation in the event of the games failure would also be a nice comfort.
Again, i’ve seen a handful of people make these systems. And i know how long they could take. I’m not saying they take no time at all. And like i said before, I don’t intent on rushing the scripter. And i have 2 people that will take part in getting the game popularized. We’ll also hype up the Game through posting progress on twitter for extra players at Alpha launch etc. This will ensure getting people’s attention. And i can’t grant any kind of compensation, I’m sorry. Though if the Applicant has any ideas for Compensation that doesn’t involve Robux or USD then i’m open for it.
