Founded in 2018, Calastar is a modern-day, fictional Ro-Nation based in Western Europe. Upon launch, Calastar quickly grew into one of Roblox’s leading fictitious Ro-Nations - creating a brand for itself within the community. After a successful 2 years, we temporarily halted operations in the Spring of 2020. Now, as we prepare to expand into a new era, Calastar is calling on the ROBLOX developer community to join us on our journey. Our goal is to evolve the Ro-Nation genre into a new form of gameplay; Where role-play and interactive gaming go hand-in-hand to create the ultimate immersive city life experience.

:hammer_and_wrench: About The Job

We are seeking motivated professional developers to join Calastar’s development team. All vacant positions are listed below, as well as examples of our style from previous games. Our developers work together under the direction of senior group management to create a modern-day fictitious city game. We are aiming to release the game in a short time frame, and therefore the working environment is rather fast-paced. Developers are expected to work a minimum of 7 hours per week in order to meet our quotas. Tasks are assigned to each developer on a regular basis and a timeframe for completion is determined. We strive for a highly communicative team, and as a result hold regular meetings to discuss plans for the group.

Examples of our game style


[FULL-TIME] Builder | Job Status: Open

We are currently seeking two (2) builders. Builders are tasked with creating structures of various sizes, styles, and levels of detail, as well as assisting in map design. Skill requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to create realistic and detailed buildings based off of images and/or written description
  • Ability to adapt and work with current game architecture
  • Ability to assist with map design and layout
  • Capability of following design plans, maps, and blueprints

[FULL-TIME] 3D Modeller | Job Status: Open

We are currently seeking one (1) 3D modeller. 3D modellers are tasked with creating various objects and equipment with 3D modelling applications such as Blender and then transferring them to ROBLOX Studio. Skill requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to create realistic vests, caps, and other accessories
  • Ability to create realistic weapons, tools, and other items
  • Ability to collaborate with our scripters to create items that will work with their systems
  • Capability of following image references and creating models to required specifications

[COMMISSION] Car Builder | Job Status: Open

We are currently seeking one (1) car builder. Car builders are tasked with creating custom vehicles and engineering functioning chassis. Skill requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to create realistic* vehicles from image references
  • Ability to engineer vehicle models with a functioning chassis system
  • Ability to add lighting, horns, and other features as well as modify speed, horsepower, and other performance characteristics as specified
  • Capability of adding liveries and other decals/textures to the vehicles
*Block or mesh cars are acceptable

[COMMISSION] UI Designer | Job Status: Closed

We are currently seeking one (1) user interface designer. UI designers are tasked with collaborating with our scripters to create aesthetic user interfaces for their systems. Skill requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to create clean, consistent, and visually pleasing graphical user interfaces
  • Ability to collaborate with our scripters to create UIs for their systems to our specifications
  • Ability to adapt and work with current game systems
  • Basic understanding of how user interface systems are scripted and the importance of a clear hierarchy

  • Be engaging with others by suggesting ideas and improvements, as well as bearing effective public relation skills.

:dollar: Payment

We pay our staff in the form of Robux only. We provide all staff members with contracts to guarantee they will receive their pay in a timely manner and to ensure we our receive assets in return. Full-time team members receive a fixed sum payment issued across 4 instalments upon completion of all work assigned during each working period. Full-time staff will continue to earn a weekly wage after completion of the project for game updates, maintenance, and any additional work required. In addition, we pay bonuses for work that exceeds the typical demand (i.e. large-scale or complex assignments). Commissioned developers receive a contract and are payed a pre-determined amount for completing a specified amount of work.
