Hello! I’m currently developing a Roblox elevator game and I’m looking for a character modeler and/or creature designer to help create a variety of unique monsters and anomalies for the project.
The creatures I’m looking for should range across a wide spectrum, including:
- Goofy and memorable creatures
- Strange and surreal entities
- Unsettling and uncanny monsters
- Disturbing horror creatures
- Body horror-inspired designs that create a sense of discomfort
While I want some designs to be genuinely unsettling, it’s important that they still fit the overall visual style of the game. The project uses a primarily blocky, Roblox-friendly art style, so creatures should be designed with part-based construction in mind rather than highly detailed realistic models. Think stylized horror rather than hyper-realism.
The game itself takes inspiration from liminal spaces, corporate environments, strange anomalies, and psychological horror. I’m looking for monsters that feel creative and memorable rather than generic zombies, demons, or SCP-style creatures. I would particularly like creatures that have strong silhouettes and visual identities that make them instantly recognizable to players.
These creatures will not be playable characters, but they should be designed with animation in mind. I plan on animating many of them for encounters, idle behaviors, movement, attacks, and environmental interactions, so designs should allow for expressive and interesting animations. Creatures with unusual movement styles, awkward limb placement, unnatural posture, or distinctive body mechanics are highly encouraged, provided they remain practical to rig and animate.
Preferred experience:
- Roblox character or creature modeling
- Horror creature design
- Concept art and character design
- Low-poly or part-based modeling
- Experience creating creatures intended for animation
Pricing is negotiable. My budget will depend on the complexity, quality, and quantity of the work being commissioned. I’m open to discussing rates on a per-model basis, per-concept basis, or through larger commission packages.
If you’re interested, please send:
- Examples of previous work
- Your rates or pricing structure
- Whether you specialize in modeling, concept design, or both
- Any experience with creature rigging or animation-ready models
- Your preferred contact method
I’m looking for someone who enjoys designing unique creatures and can help create a memorable roster of monsters that range from weird and humorous to genuinely disturbing and uncomfortable.
