Barry’s American Diner - Programmer Position
We are currently seeking for a programmer to join our development committee to help script our Version 1 Restaurant and Training Complex, which should hopefully be released within August at the latest.
You will be paid a total of 10k Robux for helping with our Restaurant and you will also be paid upwards of around 5k Robux for helping us with our Training Centre. I am willing to re-negotiate this price if it seems unfair.
Our group currently has around 340 members and is growing at a good rate!
We are looking for programmers who are active, dedicated towards the task and can demonstrate maturity and professionalism.
What’s Involved
You will be programming all of our complex ‘systems’ that we have planned for our release and potentially some other small features, such as donations, music script system and game-passes which can be done relatively quickly. We may pay extra for these additional features if a price can be agreed upon.
We are looking for a system which will allow staff to sit down customers at tables with corresponding numbers on an iPad and which will allow staff to add and remove customers to a table party. Also, we are looking to make sure that users who try and sit down on unbooked tables will be respawned within 5 seconds. Once the users have finished eating, there should be an option to remove all from the party, making the table available once again.
As well as this, the system should be integrated with an ordering system, where staff can select an item off of the menu to be cooked in the kitchen. Staff will then take their tablet into the kitchen and cook the food which has been ordered, before giving it to the staff with a simple !handto command.
As for our Training Centre, we are looking to have another party system which will allow trainers to add users to their grouping ready to be trained. They can add up to eight staff that need to be trained, and add/remove points gained from achieving certain tasks within the training itself. They will also be able to set the amount of points needed for users to pass the training and other variables, which should be connected to a leaderboard. We will try and provide you with the UI’s before you start programming.

You should be at least 13 years old to apply. We are also looking for this to be done relatively quickly within under one month, and with regular progress shown. We are willing to remove certain tasks if there are too many for the price we have given.
