ABOUT US
This project (currently unnamed) is an open world action RPG game inspired by the Star Wars universe with elements from popular games of the genre such as Battlefront, Jedi Survivor, and more. The final product will have a multitude of explorable planets, each outfitted with unique structures, quests, npcs, and bosses. The game is set during the Clone Wars period with some alterations to include Jedi, Sith, GAR, CIS, and Mandalorian factions. The majority of the map and features of the game will be available to all players but a Star Wars roleplay community will exist which represents each of the listed factions. These groups will participate in trainings, battles, and other lore events that take place across the in-game galaxy.
THE JOB
The team consists of two main developers, myself (scripter) and @chewie343 (builder), along with a small group of supporting developers. We currently have a need for an animator and a UI designer. Animation must include all canon lightsaber forms as well as Force abilities and more. UI must include menus, combat UI and other interactable interfaces.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferable to have some knowledge of the Star Wars universe – especially the Clone Wars – and an appreciation for the franchise
- Must be available to work consistently (at the very least on weekends or a couple hours during the week)
- Produce high quality assets that match the style of the game
- Work well in collaboration with development team
PAYMENT
This is primarily a passion project between its two owners and currently has no budget. The current development team operates with the expectation of receiving a percentage of the group’s income proportional to the level of contribution from the individual in question. Alternate forms of payment are open for discussion, if you are interested.
