Hello everyone!
Horizon Studios is currently looking for an experienced 3D Environmental Modeler.
About the Project
We are developing a large-scale, fictional county-based Ro-State game focused on immersive gameplay and optimization. The map features a mix of urban, suburban, rural, and coastal environments, with an emphasis on realistic layouts while maintaining excellent performance across a wide range of devices.
Our visual direction is stylized low-poly, to keep things clean and optimized. Rather than highly detailed, photorealistic assets, we’re aiming for architecture that closely resembles mesh and union-built assets, but modeled as optimized meshes. The goal is to preserve that classic Roblox feel while improving consistency and performance.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who can create:
- Residential homes and neighborhoods
- Vehicles (Maybe)
- Skyscrapers
- Commercial buildings
- Emergency service facilities
- Government buildings
- Industrial structures
- Storefronts and miscellaneous architecture
- Other map structures as needed
Style Requirements
- Stylized low-poly architecture
- Clean topology and optimization
- Consistent architectural style throughout the project
- Meshes designed with Roblox performance in mind
- Assets that capture the feel of classic Parts/Union builds while taking advantage of mesh assets.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience modeling in Blender
- Strong understanding of optimization and polygon budgets
- Able to work from references and concept images
- Good communication and reliability
- Long term Commitment
- Portfolio showcasing environment or architectural work
Compensation
Compensation is negotiable and will depend on experience, quality of work, and availability. We are open to discussing either per-asset pricing or milestone-based payments.
