About us
I am forming a train and aeroplane company, that manufactures trains and aeroplanes to sell to customers. I can’t build a train, or a plane, or model one, so I am hiring someone to do it instead. It doesn’t really matter if its modelled or built, but it has to be of good quality.
The job
I am looking for a modeller or builder to make trains and or aircraft for my company, to sell them to the public. This includes the interior, under the train (bogies, engines), on top of the train, and of course the shell. For the plane, it needs the fuselage, gear, cabin etc. It needs to be semi-realistic or realistic.
Payment
The payment varies depending on what we sell. You will receive at least 60% for your work, and it can go up even more, depending on the quality.
You don’t need to actually do any work until an order is placed in. Once the order has been placed and the money is eventually paid, you will be paid. There will be a 25% deposit that the customer must pay, and you will get the rates mentioned above from that, and the following 75%.

From my understanding, you will be getting up to 40% of the sale. I highly recommend linking your ‘‘company’’ or any other details of this sale, as you will be taking up to 40% of a commission for essentially ‘‘finding a buyer’’, this is reasonable if you own a large discord for the ‘‘company’’ or ‘‘community’’ you will be making, but if this just you finding work for someone and taking nearly half their revenue, that isn’t very fair in my opinion.
Lets put this into context, you find a person who needs 3 different model planes, 2 of those need an interior and 1 is just exterior. They will be paying 25,000 robux for the entire Job ( Example ), judging by those rates, someone will spend 3-20 hours on this if not more, and you will just take 40% of that, which equates to 10,000 robux ( 35$) for finding a customer.
In brief, I think you should Link a discord/ make one so there is more recognition and people interested or just lower your cut from the take. I suggest taking 10%, maybe 15% maximum if your just a singular person that will look for clients.
Nonetheless, if you go through with the Marketplace discord/ community, I would 100% consider ordering some models for future use!
I said that they would get 60 percent minimum, I never said I would be taking the rest. 60 percent is for decent quality, and it can go up to 80 percent
20% of a sale is still a massive amount if you think about it. Plane modelling is quite profitable and probably costs ( don’t quote me, I’ve just always seen people charging literal thousands) and you earn the 20% from just scrolling down a page ( if your on the forums! )
Of course my Opinion can be contradicted with something like ‘’ If the Modeller wants to have the amount he wants, he can’’ but this is just me simply stating my input and what you should do for future.
