Welcome to the Hokui Training Guide!

This training guide should be used by management members and interns at sessions. Please note that any parts highlighted in black like this should NOT be said out loud. If a line says READ ONLY, then do not say the line directly next to ‘read only’. You DO say the line under ‘read only.’

Ensure to treat your Trainees with respect, and please refer to the ‘allowed commands’ dropdown for your usable commands.

If you are a shadow, you only will say the greeting labeled to you in the ‘greetings’ section. After this, you are only to say the order and give out points & results based on the trainees scores. Finally, you will do the trivia section below. Everything labeled ‘shadow’ is for you.

Allowed Commands

Training Center Commands (Training Assistant & above)

Command	Description
`/t or /team`	Speak in team chat. Chat bubbles will match team color for communicating with training partners.
`!team`	Host/Grouper only. Used if sort command does not evenly assign groups. (i.e., `!team urburden Daisy`)
`!speed`	Freeze/unfreeze trainees. Only for trainees. (i.e., `!speed %Blossom 0`)
`!bring admins`	Training Host only. Brings all admins in-game to current location (used for photo time after session).
`!bring %group`	Brings your group to their station. (i.e., `!bring %blossom`)
`!gp`	Tracks trainees points. Not required but can assign points at the training center.
`!rp/!removepoint`	Removes a point from a trainee.
`!chatlogs`	Views logs of trainee chat messages.
`!logs`	Views logs of commands executed by admins in-game.
`!m / !sm`	Training Host only. Displays text in the middle of everyone’s screen.
`!h`	Training Host only. Displays text at the top of everyone’s screen.
`!view`	Views a player (often used on trainees).
`!viewtools`	Views inventory of yourself, a trainee, or a group. (i.e., `!viewtools luyvia`)
`!removetools`	Clears inventory of yourself, a trainee, or a group. (i.e., `!removetools %Wave`)
`!fail`	Fails a trainee if misbehaving, AFK, or not completing order. (i.e., `!fail luyvia Trolling`)
`!uniform (user) m/f`	Equips Management Uniform while at training center. (i.e., `!uniform me m/f`)
`!open`	Training Host only. Unlocks the server if closed so trainees can join.
`!close`	Training Host only. Locks the server to prevent new joins.
`!shutdown`	Training Host only. Shuts down training server and logs in `#training-logs`.
`!cancel (user)`	Trainer only. Cancels trainee’s order.
`!togglepts`	Training Host only. Toggles PTS calls on/off.
`!tostation`	Trainer only. Teleports you to your assigned station. (i.e., `!tostation blossom`)
`!tospot`	Training Host only. Teleports all trainees to their stations.
`!start`	Training Host only. Starts the training session.
`!forceview %group (user)`	Trainer/Shadowers only. Forces a group to view your group and sets speed to 0.
`!htlogs`	Trainer only. Views hand-to logs for session. Can confirm declined trainee orders.

Additional Notes:

Commands not listed can be used responsibly without executive permission ONLY once all Trainees/Customers are gone. You may not use your commands to be disruptive or annoy a fellow admin or you WILL receive consequences.

Shadow Notes

If you are shadowing at this session, your job will be relatively simple. You are simply getting the hang of assisting trainers, and must pay attention to the flow of trainings as you will soon be evaluated to be a possible solo trainer.

You will say the first line of the first shadow section. The following lines are only for you to view.

Then, you will continue to give out the order results which is a bit lower than your original line. Ensure to help your trainees once giving the order.

Once you give out order results, you will proceed to the trivia section.

Lastly, at the end of the session you will run the ‘!promotegroup [group]’ command to promote your trainees that have passed.

Ensure to pay attention to your trainers to know when it is your turn to say something, or you might be quite embarrassed..

Preliminary Training Session Notes

Claim a training spot in #session-claiming at :40. You are claiming based on the amount of sessions you have for that week, Priority for those with a lower amount of sessions ends at :43. Make sure you are dispersing. There is no need for people to co-train if another server needs trainers.
Training Assistants should claim at xx:45. The priority for TAs ends at xx:47.
Join the training center when the list has been posted by the host. You must join by :55, or else your spot may be removed.
Please note that you are required to answer all PTS questions before the training commences.
Please ensure you are not unclaiming once you’ve claimed for a server UNLESS the host of that server asks for trainers.
If you’re a TA spectating, say !team me spectator. If you’re a Coordinator+ who’s training, say !team me trainer.
Make sure you’re communicating with your other trainers in the ‘/team’ chat. Failure to do so could result in deductions from your spectator.
Use the !uniform me m/f command

Only use the !forceview (group) command on the Kitchen Tour unless you have 10+ trainees.

Trainer A: Introductory Information

Please note that you will not be able to move at times. This is to ensure you’re not roaming around and paying attention to important information.

Throughout this training, you will be tested on learning how to make orders & how to deal with misbehaving customers.

Please note that only Customers may rank up at this session, Junior Juicers+ can attend for practice.

If you disconnect from the server you will have 2 minutes to rejoin the training center. Please use our in-game board, group wall, or communications server to find another training session time.

If you have a question, you can just tell or ask your trainer. Be patient when waiting for a response.

Before we begin, remember that handing items to someone who did not order anything at the cafe is not tolerated.

This is known as point cheating and will result in a blacklist.

Trainer B: Kitchen Tour

We will start this session with a tour of our kitchen. I’ll quickly show you where the kitchen stations are, and will also share some information you will need for the simulation.

We will now begin the tour, your attention will be turned to me.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Use !forceview command to have the Trainees view you.

Cutting Board - First, select the bowl you want to make, then you will play a simple minigame to cut ingredients, drag the fruit into the bowl, and add garnishes.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Walk to the acai mixture.

Acai mixture - This is where you will fill your bowl with the acai mixture.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Walk to the back of the kitchen, where the dry stock is located.

Dry stock - All other ingredients, fruits, and garnishes are stored here. This station is used for both pastries and acai bowls.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Walk to the pastry counter.

Pastry Shelves – This is the first step in making a pastry and where you gather your pastry recipes.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Walk to the ovens.

Oven - This is where you will bake your pastry.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Go to the fridge.

Refrigerator - This is the first step in making a smoothie. Here, you find the recipe for smoothies.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Go to the Blender.

Blender - This is where you blend your smoothies. You’ll also play a simple minigame to complete the blending process.

(TRAINER: READ ONLY) Make your way back to the counters at the front of your training station.

Now that we’ve finished the tour of all stations, here is some important information before we start making orders.

Whenever you reach any station, remember to press ‘Use’ or ‘F’ right away. Once you press it, a menu will automatically pop up showing the smoothie, pastry, or bowl options.

Step-by-step instructions will also appear at the bottom of your screen to guide you through each action. Follow them carefully.

If you can’t see the directions or you’re unsure what to do, just let us know and we’ll assist you right away.

We’ve finished the tour. Thank you for listening. You’ll see how each station works while making the order.

Trainer A: Order Simulation Information

When a customer approaches you at the cafe, you must first greet them.

For example, “Hello! Welcome to Hokui. I’m (name) and I will be serving you, what can I get you?”

The order limit is three unless you are okay with making more items. After taking their order, ask them to wait at the counter and begin making their order in the kitchen.

To hand an order, click on the “Interact” button on my body with the order equipped and hit “Hand Food”. For this simulation, please refrain from handing the order until asked.

I will now give you an order to make. You can use the notepad in your inventory to write it down.

Keep in mind that you will have 5 minutes to complete this order. Once the 5 minutes is up you will have to make your way back to the counters even if you do not finish the order.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY )You may change the items if you wish; ensure they include a Smoothie and an Acai Bowl.

Shadow (Trainer A if there is no shadow): Order Simulation Continued

(Shadows: Make sure to only say the order in this section. The rest of the information is read only.)

The order is: Key West Acai Bowl & Oceanberry Smoothie. Come back to a counter when done. Be sure to un-equip your clipboards before starting at the cutting boards.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) Please try your best to assist them, do not let them struggle.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) Be sure you are giving your trainees the time limit of 5 minutes during this simulation. Once the 5 minutes is up, be sure to bring all of the trainees and grade them from there.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) You can use !cancel user to cancel a Trainee’s order if needed.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) You must use the !gp username command to keep track of whose orders you have checked. This is mandatory.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) The trainees must hand you the items initially. If they are struggling, try to help them. If they do not understand, then you may use !viewtools and check their inventory.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) Make sure the acai bowl is complete with all of the ingredients.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) After an individual finishes, ensure their order is checked behind the counters instead of in the kitchen.

Shadows will be required to check at least one order during the simulation.

Shadows, you may use these responses depending on how many points your trainee got:

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) If Correct (2/2):

This is correct, you will be proceeding with the session.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) If Incorrect (1/2):

This order is incorrect, it was a Key West Acai Bowl and an Oceanberry Smoothie. You can still pass as you made one item correctly.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) If Incorrect (0/2):

The order was a Key West Acai Bowl and an Oceanberry Smoothie. Unfortunately, you have failed this session as you need at least 1 correct item to pass.

Shadow (Trainer B if there is no shadow): Trivia

We will now move on to the final stage. I will give some information about the juicer role.

Take notes and try to remember this information, but you can always refer to the juicer guide in our public handbook in our group description.

If someone is not ordering correctly at the cafe, give the troller one reminder to stop, like “stop trolling and order properly.”

If they continue after you tell them to stop, call an admin. However, you should call an admin right away if you see any exploiters.

To call an admin, use the command !callmr user replacing “user” with the troller’s username.

You should only use it when somebody is trolling or exploiting; you will get in trouble if the command is abused.

If there are no management members in your server, you can report a disruptive customer on the group wall or in the communications server.

Now that we’ve gone over the trolling procedure, we’re going to begin the trivia section.

I’ll be asking you 3 questions based on everything we’ve covered so far, and you have 45 seconds to respond with the correct answers.

(TRAINER/SHADOW: READ ONLY) You should be sending out all three questions below, only send one question at a time:

Q1: What’s a suitable reminder for a troller?

Q2: How do you call a Management Rank (MR)?

Q3: What do you do if someone’s trolling/exploiting but there are no MRs in your server?

Q1: A suitable reminder for a trolling customer looks something like ‘Please stop trolling or I will have to call an admin.’

Q2: The correct answer was to call an admin or management member using the !callmr (user) command. Well done to everyone who answered correctly!

Q3: The correct answer was to report the disruptive customer either on the group wall or in the communications server. Amazing job to whoever got it right!

That concludes this stage, great job! Please pay attention as we approach the end of this session.

Trainer A: Conclusion

Congratulations, you have all passed this training. I will now go over some information that will help you as a Juicer at Hokui. Do not leave yet.

You’ll need XP in order to rank up. You can gain XP by serving customers and NPCs. More information regarding this can be found on the board in the kitchen above the shelves.

Earn points by cleaning tables, mopping spills, and serving customers. The points you earn in the cafe can be exchanged into rbx. For more details, check our communications server.

Please note that rewards will not always be available, but only depending on the owner’s availability to refill them.

At the cafe, if you would like to spawn an NPC to come to your counter, press the Staff Menu button at the top right of your screen and click Spawn NPC.

Creating and handing items to someone who did not order anything isn’t allowed. This process is known as point cheating. You will get in trouble if you do so.

As a Juicer, please only work at the counter that you have claimed by pressing E/tapping ‘claim’ on the counter. Do not share counters, and wait outside the kitchen if you do not have one.

As a Star Juicer, you have the opportunity to be noticed and promoted to Training Assistant. Remember, you must be in our community server and actively work hard.

Being AFK for more than 2 minutes is not allowed and will result in a ban. If you need to go AFK, please ensure that you use the breakroom.

Use the commands !help and !promotioninfo in the cafe for more information. Working as a Juicer is just as fun if you don’t meet the requirements for Training Assistant.

Does anyone have any questions before you are ranked?

Awesome! Please do not leave yet, as you are now being ranked. Once you get promoted, you will be teleported to the cafe.

Shadow: Promoting Group

To promote a trainee, use the following command in chat. Do NOT use it more than once: !promotegroup [group]. Please note that the shadow will rank if there is one, you may use this command on Junior Juicers+, as it will not rank them.

If you’re unsure if the promote command worked, you may use !info %group or !info user to check their rank. If they’ve all been ranked to Junior Juicer, you can use !kick %group.

Trainer FAQ

- If your trainees leave during your session, you will get credit for that session as long as the trainer has teleported them at the beginning. Any abuse of this will result in severe consequences.

- If a trainee disconnects and does not come back within 120 seconds, they should be dismissed from the session.

- If a trainer or shadow has to leave, you will only get credit if you've completed the information for the ordering stage. This also applies to the shadow and trainer B.

- If you have to leave due to an emergency or your trainees have left, you must PM the host and let them know, failure to do this will result in consequences.

- If you happen to encounter a problem where PMs are broken as a host, feel free to team yourself on the Trainers Team and communicate with the trainers through Team chat.

- If the Sticky Message breaks when you’re hosting, you don’t need to send any message since using PTS is common knowledge.

- If the server message breaks when you’re sending shouts at the cafe, feel free to skip cafe shouts. Although if it breaks when you’re hosting, you must utilize the !forceview command and send the messages manually through the chat.
