Home Recommendation Impressions Dropped to 0

On February 23 at 12:00AM, my experience [:person_raising_hand: ROUTES] :house_with_garden: New Jersey School Buses :oncoming_bus: experienced a sudden drop in Home Recommendation impressions to 0.

Prior to this drop:

  • The experience was receiving approximately 1.5 million total impressions per week.

  • Home Recommendation impressions were consistent and stable.

  • The game regularly peaked at around 200 concurrent players.

  • Revenue and engagement were steady.

At exactly 12:00 AM on February 23:

  • Home Recommendation impressions dropped to 0.

  • Total user thumbnail impressions dropped at the exact same time.

  • Weekly impressions sharply declined from ~1.5M to near zero.

  • Concurrent players were significantly reduced and now peak around 100.

There were:

  • No experience updates published at that time.

  • No changes to thumbnails, icons, metadata, or gamepasses.

  • No moderation messages, warnings, or policy violations.

  • No known changes to category or targeting.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Creator Hub.

  2. Navigate to the Analytics page for the experience.

  3. View Discovery or Traffic analytics.

  4. Observe that Home Recommendation impressions drop to 0 starting February 23 at 12:00 AM and remain at 0.

  5. Compare weekly impressions before and after the drop, showing the decrease from ~1.5M per week.

Describe what you expect to happen

If everything is functioning correctly, Home Recommendation impressions should vary gradually based on performance metrics. They should not instantly drop from ~1.5M weekly impressions to 0 at an exact timestamp without any changes made to the experience.

I expect the experience to continue receiving Home Recommendation impressions based on its engagement and performance metrics.

A few of the categories rotate bi-weekly so it may have refreshed and your game didn’t do well enough to be put in again

edit: nvm home recommendations are different

Hello, yes this is happening to a game as well which I work on, it’s definitely an issue of some sort & not natural since it happened to my game around the 22th-23th timeframe as well.

I’ve reached out to ROBLOX & got no useful response which is concerning, since it has been very detrimental to the average player count.
