Im aware this is a really bad example.
But what you can do is instead add parts around the button, make it whatever color, and make its material ForceField.
Line it up correctly like i didnt, lol. And it should look pretty accurate to that image.
Possibly a ParticleEmitter? Probably not but maybe…
Particle emitters move. I dont think this would even be possible at all, yet a good suggestion.
The first response was on the right track, you just have to place a surface ui over it with a frame, make it green then put a UIGradient with the transparency going up to 1
