As the title says, how do I give a player a shirt that I made myself through a script?
Like in their inventory? Or do you mean just to their character?
If it’s to their inventory, you can’t.
If it’s to their character, you need to create a Shirt instance, then parent it to their character.
is that I have seen games that give clothes for passing an obby or something
I’m not too sure what you mean sorry. Are you talking about Roblox events? Only games that are affiliated with a Roblox event or endorsed by Roblox in some way can give out items for free. Closest you can get is a badge, there aren’t any APIs that let you grant ownership of items.
You can set a player’s character clothing trough the settings or using a script
Sadly, you can’t give the shirt you made to their inventory using a game or scripts. If you want it, your game must be an official event which very difficulty to make it. But you can ask players in your game to buy it instead. The lowest price i ever know is 5 robux.
