My game was recently taken down (content deleted) over a copyright issue, the takedown was completely fair, and i want to find a way to get my game reopened for use, however since the platform does such a terrible job at telling you how to proceed going forward other than “too bad you can appeal if it was unfair”, i am beyond lost at this point.
Obviously i know that i have to remove the infringing content from my game, but the problem is that since the game was content deleted, i am not able to do so, as i can’t even publish any changes to it in the first place, so i wanted to see if maybe there was anyone here who has gone through something like this before and knows what the steps to take are to remedy this, to hopefully get some assistance with what i’m going through right now.
I have sent in an appeal for an asset being moderated wrongly, as unfortunately that’s the only option under “Moderation” in the contact form that got close to my issue, and i feel like it won’t amount to much, but it was still worth a try anyways. Maybe there’s a better option for this? i really have no way of knowing, because i wasn’t given any steps to direct me at all.
