My game called DRIVE BATTLES has really bad stats and a bad like to dislike ratio it (39%). I spent at least a year developing this game and just started advertising it a couple of days ago with a budget of around 17k robux. These are the overview stats of my game:
I tried to fix some stats for example the average playtime by adding training and lowering the minimum playercount to start the game from 6 players to 4 but it seems like it didn’t change much. What can I do to fix some stats and the bad like to dislike ratio? Any help is extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance
1.) Is your game unique, different, or better in any way than other games similar to yours? If it isn’t, people have no reason to play.
2.) Is your game too hard to understand? Make sure you have a good introduction to the game’s mechanics and controls.
3.) Does it work well on mobile and console? If you used MouseButton1Click for button clicks instead of Activated, only PC players can click buttons, which is annoying because it seems like devs on YouTube and other places encourage you to use MouseButton1Click. Same with TouchTap, but nobody ever uses TouchTap. Remember, most Roblox players are on mobile.
4.) Is there enough endgame content to keep players coming back? If somebody unlocks everything in one day, that’s only 1 day of playing before they never join again.
5.) Did you have playtesters verify these things? If you dont have testers, you have no idea if your game is fun or not for people other than you who dont understand the game as much.
6.) If your game is too hard for new players, they might dislike your game out of anger. Make sure to add new player servers and pro player servers to prevent this.
7.) Is your game pay to win? If you have gamepasses everywhere, people will feel left out or limited without buying, and that is not good. Make every gamepass optional and don’t spam them everywhere. What I would do is make almost everything (ESPECIALLY LIMITED STUFF) possible to get for free to play players. If something is robux-only, then make sure it stays forever, to not make players feel rushed to buy it.
Your welcome for the essay. TwT I sadly cannot test your game as i am >16, but I’m sure other forum users may be abke to if you link your game here for testing.
The ui is terrible on mobile, it overlaps and does not let me drive. The shooting is pretty difficult on mobile. I like the game idea, just maybe fix those things and it might be better. Also when I join there is like 4 ui popups all overlapping saying different things. I like the idea though! Good luck!!
