I am making a Liminal Space game and if you’re familiar with liminal space it’s all ominous and lonely.
I feel out of anything I can make that feeling with the lighting but I am unsure how.
I set it all super dark to let light blocks make up the lighting since there are night, day, bright, and dark rooms and it makes the dinky flashlight more effective.
I’ll take any feedback that is given, Thank you (^:
Do you purposely want it to have the old (compatibility) lighting? if not, try switching the lighting technology to Future, it should improve your lighting a lot
Future heavily reduces framerate, I suggest using ShadowMap. But yeah, why have you set the Technology to Compatibility? Compatibility is meant to replicate Roblox’s old legacy lighting.
I’ll give future and shadow map another try tomorrow! I gave it a try at the beginning but the white walls became very blinding and figured that’s what it all was - judged too soon! I don’t have the best laptop and I keep it on high graphics + compatibility to run it smoothly, shadow map and future may slow me down.
( also replying to @Judgy_Oreo ) Thank you both for the feedback!
