How can I improve my UI?

I’m working on a menu for when a user is in a lobby, It’s working fine, I just want to know how can I improve the UI design so it doesn’t look like I’ve made it in a rush, any feedback is deeply appreciated, it’s okay if you’re honest.

  • Align the text buttons and give them a (preferably rounded) box outline so it’s clearer that they are able to be clicked. I’d make the text bold as well.
  • Change the grey bar under the texts to fade into position rather than zoom across the screen
  • This is less necessary, but consider changing it to a light/pastel colour based on the current selection - e.g. light blue when it’s in the lobby, light red when it’s defenders.

Here’s how you can make your UI Better:

So actually, i’ve noticed that your map matches ok with your UI. Here’s some off my mind thoughts, before I mention how you can improve your UI.

  • Improve your map to the best of you. (No offense, but it kind of looks bad. Please don’t take that in a offensive way, I’m giving you the best feedback I can.)
  • Add decals in your map. (Your map feels empty)

Now, Here’s my thoughts on your UI and how you can improve it:

  • Match your UI with your map (After you have improved it)
  • Fill your UI up. (It feels empty. There’s only 2 buttons. It’s currently to big right now.)
  • Add additional quick info up on your UI (Time, Username, Display Name, etc.)
  • Place all buttons in the middle (Will give the players a good feeling when they optimize the ui.)
  • Improve your tweenservice a little bit more (Does not go diagonal.)
  • Change the font to your game type (ex. Gun Game? Gun Font.)

All of these options would give a player a feeling: This game is cool!

Just some ideas.

make the text at least aligned…

The current text alignment that I’ve done was temporary for feedback, if it wasn’t for the textboxes, you wouldn’t even tell that’s a UI. So I’m sorry.
