How can I improve this simulator

Hey, so I quickly found out that if I want to make a great game that will maybe have a chance of reaching the front page, I first need funding. So I’m making a sort of cash-grab simulator to try to get that kind of funding.

Game concept

The simulator concept is similar to most jumping simulators, you jump around and get more and more jump power, in my game there are areas in the sky that you jump up to get higher and higher, the higher you are, the more money you make from each jump, with that money, you can buy trails, rebirths, and higher areas in the sky. Rebirthing raises the amount of jump power you get from each jump.

Monetization

There is a row of developer products / gamepasses on the left side of your screen, I added a button to shove them out of the screen for the people that aren’t interested and don’t want it cluttering up the game.

Budget and advertising strategy

My budget is currently 17.5k, but I’m going to grow it to 20k before I full out use it, so 20k it is.

I’m planning on sponsoring the game on pc, I’m not sure whether to spend it in one short push or a steady stream. Whichever one will make back more.

Game: Flipping Simulator - Roblox

Please leave feedback on how I can make this game more enjoyable and profitable. Also let me know of any bugs you come across.

The icon for the game is already done, I’m currently getting the thumbnail done.

If your concept is similar to a known simulator called: Ultimate Jumping Simulator 2. These types of simulator games tend to die early, they feature the same mechanics without changes that make it enjoyable you should try making your game stand out from others.

You need to include things that’ll make it enjoyable to players nobody doesn’t want to press there space bar all day just to collect in game currency - powers. You should have quests that will be useful for players to play your game instead of giving players in-game currency the game would get bored very quickly trying to achieve those low quality items such as (rebirths and trails.

Try including more worlds that players can jump to practice their skills for jumping on higher objects like something speed running simulators have but make it different from there’s. As well, these types of games look similar to all different simulators with the same items, gamepass building structures ect.

The map was small and without much put into the actual map, I was bored within a few minutes/ seconds. Give your game a better concept make it stand out from others, join sorting simulator games and see what they have and see what you can do to make yours better from there’s while the structure is good it just needs those few touches to make it better.

Some notes about your game:

The unusually large monetization gui with hide button is an interesting approach. It certainly got my attention. Now, that may or may not end up being a good thing because it could make people more likely to dislike. And, for a new game, getting a poor rating might as well be death in most cases. If it were me, I’d probably make them a bit smaller and stick with the common practice.

The map isn’t on par with modern simulators. The buildings are pretty decent and with a little extra work they’ll be ready to go. The trees should be re-done entirely. There are other things too but really you should take another look at modern simulators and you’ll see how they handle it. Lack of music is also weird.

Is this R6 only? If so, consider moving to R15 only. That’s what simulator players want. It might be a little more difficult to animate, but simulators don’t require that many animations anyway so that shouldn’t be stopping you.

Another feature to consider is auto jump. Idle players will bolster your player count.

Lastly, agreed with with Jordon is saying. You don’t necessarily have to take the approach that he’s suggesting, but the point is that there isn’t an apparent long term value proposition. Players will ask themselves: If I spend my time playing this game, will I be happy? It’s hard enough getting players into your game to begin with. Convincing them to join a second time is much harder.

Made a lot of updates, including a racing feature and more map(s)

I just came out with a great idea to make the core gameplay more fun, I can’t really explain it but I have a good feeling about it.

Alright, I added the different flipping concept. Instead of just pressing space to flip, now you have to hold down the space bar until the pointer is over the green/red area.

Thanks to the people who gave me advice earlier.
