So I was trying to build a small low-poly house, and after around 2 hours of building I’m just not satisfied with the Build. Is it actually bad or is it me under-appreciating my work? And if it is bad how can I improve?

you’re doing good so far! i’d recommend studying architectural trends and observing details in modern buildings since i believe that’s the style you’re going for. personally, it’s helped me a lot.
going crazy and experimenting with dimensions can be very rewarding, so don’t be afraid to do so! for example, adding onto the modern style, many modern houses have tons of shapes yet maintains it’s minimalism. don’t neglect any side of the house, build until you can showcase every angle.
for the windows, neon is a good way to hide the interior, but a very bright material so never make it institutional white. add glass over it as well so it softens and compliments the build instead of taking away from it.
remember to have a dummy rig nearby so you can properly reference size! goodluck with the rest of the house

Depending on what kind of modern structure your going for you will usually see most define textures and colors to make the place blend with each-other. There are countless of ways to improve your build or to make it more modern like while the colors lack I feel like you should move towards more white and greyish colors, even with suggested items that are being made.
I would try taking the recommendations however you like as it may help you improve your build to make it more appealing.
If you have already done things that are being suggested, you should learn how to experiment with countless of details. The build does lack elements that will fit the modern design, the place lacks proper color scheme details and variety of shapes. Images do come in handy for either gathering ideas and information regarding how to improve it.

I would say you are under appreciating your work, it really isn’t bad at all! You definitely should add more details though, some plants and trees would add a lot to this. Maybe even a table in between the chairs too. The roof looks a little plain as well, try adding borders like you have on the rest of the house or maybe a few raised tiles spread out.
The door and roof stick out really bad though, I would change the color of it if I were you. Same for the windows, institutional white is way too obnoxious when used on neon parts. Try pearl or ghost grey instead.

ok so it is pretty good but i would make the windows less bright and i would change the roof color also you should make the house bigger and the chairs smaller with more details.
