How can I make a rail grind system?

I hope I don’t sound so mean or demanding.

Can someone tell me how I could make a Rail Grinding System?

I ask cause I am making a Sonic fangame and I want to import a Rail Grinding System it’s stages but I have no idea how to make it.

I don’t know if this is how it works but I think it has do with Attachments or Welds and there is a Script that moves the player to the attachment while facing the direction of the rail while playing the animation but I have no Idea how to Script that.

I think you might need a BodyGyro and BodyVelocity.

Since the character is guided along a line with a fast velocity, I think those wouldn’t be suited (and they’re deprecated anyways but I know the newer physics constraints exist). I would just manipulate the character’s CFrame to the position on the rail.
