How can i make all players and devices have the same positions of GUI?

Hello! So i am making a popular board game called hues and cues (You can search it up if you want to) but basically, theres a pointer (white box) that is used to mark a color from the board

My problem is that the pointer is in a completely different place on every device, ive tried searching up everything. I did make the UIDragDetector update everytime its dragged using remote events, but I dont think the problem is in that part, i tried messing around with the board frame but couldnt get it right.

Did you tried to use scale on frame’s position and frame’s size ?

that’s weird… (should only happen in using not scale on frame’s position and frame’s size)

Yes i only used scale for the frame, it still does not work.

What

send picture properties of this frame

this isnt a scripting issue, but how your UIs were designed

try parenting the pointer to a transparent frame with a UIAspectRatioConstraint. like a frame that covers the entire grid.

the pointer is currently scaling with the player’s device, which the aspect ratio can vary.

Ill try this and update you later!

Does not seem to be working, but ill try messing with it a bit more.

Try using anchor points, UIAspectRatios, and sizing to make your GUI fit and scale on all screens. You can use the emulator to see what it looks like on certain screens.

make sure that transparent frame matches up perfectly with the grid. i’m going to assume that grid is an ImageLabel. the transparent frame should have the exact same properties (pos, size, anchor point) as that ImageLabel. the grid already has a UIAspectRatioConstraint I assume

make sure to add the ratio constraints using plugins or math (abs. size x / abs. size y)

Still does not seem to be working.
