How can I make it so the limbs I have not edited aren't still/act as if it was edited when animating?

I have troubleshooted this many times, asked my friend who is a animator, and nothing has worked. I have also searched this online, watched videos, and looked on other forum posts, yet they have not worked.

I am trying to make a animation where the arms are moved, NOT the legs or any other limbs, but those limbs act as if they were edited during the animating process. I mean like, they (the unedited limbs) are completely still. I want it to be so they have the Roblox moving animation they have already had but with the arms maneuvered in a different form.

Please help me. I have made sure there is no key frame on them, I have tried both the default animator and Moon Animator 2, I have made sure their priority is set to Action, and I have made sure the animation is published.

hey! Can you explain more? When you move the torso, it will move the body, including the legs.

I made a test animation to test/troubleshoot this issue. I only edited the right and left arms, and was met with the same problem. My entire body was still when moving. I want any other limb that wasn’t edited (everything but the arms) to be moving as if normal. By the way I am using an R15 rig.

Add an Anim Node on the body part where its just at the same place it’s originally at. Basically no changes to the part but, I guess, the animation node is just there.

I’m sorry, where can I find an Anim Node? I am not familiar with this term as I am not a full animator and only do it when needed, and I have reviewed documentation and looked over the editor and can not find anything talking about nodes.

Is this for the default animator or a Moon Animator addition?

I meant keyframe, node just came up in my head. You can do it by right clicking after adding a new part to add (I’m honestly unsure if this’ll work but I believe it will):

Ok for some reason some of the buttons I clicked didn’t show the Ui. Anyway click the + button then add the body part then right click to add a keyframe for that body part

he means just keyframe the parts you want animated and make sure not to add any keyframes for the legs

It sadly, does not work. Let me describe a little more of what I am trying to do.

Here is a video showing what is happening.

I would like it so my legs and body move as if there was no edit done to them, like have the default animation play, but having the arms be stood up, as shown in the video.

Delete the AnimationTrack of the limbs you want to be unaffected, like show in the video attached:
(Click the three dots, then click Delete Track button)

This, as well did not work. Here is what my animation track looks like too.

I am very confused on why it still seems not to be working. I did make sure to have the priority set to Action aswell.

Deleting AnimationTrack is how its done, so there is another mistake (Like maybe you didn’t publish the new animation properly?)

I am really not sure what to do, I am currently checking all over, re-publishing, and making sure everything is fine yet it still is not working?

If you aren’t sure of what else to do, does anyone know any tips I can try? This should be working, I do not know why it isn’t.
